The former Manchester United and Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo has performed another magical step-over! His new team is all set to help him out on this incredible journey as he takes on the role of a superhero in this children’s football-themed cartoon series.
Legends are remembered, and often written in the record books. But the Portuguese star has taken his fame beyond the history books and into the digital world with this venture. Cristiano Ronaldo is not new to the title of a ‘superhero’, and today has proved himself beyond a footballer. A true hero of the game, the 33 year old has inspired millions of people from around the world with his work ethic and incredible dedication to the game. He is now one of the most followed athletes in the sports world.
Talking about the new Striker Force 7 series, Cristiano Ronaldo said –
"I have always been a fan of superheroes and I'm thrilled to help create this new animated series. In the same way football connects cultures and people around the world, I believe great animated characters and heroes can do the same and that's why I am excited to bring together these passions of football and superheroes through this project and share it with my fans."
Taking his fame to the digital world by storm, Cristiano Ronaldo has announced a lucrative partnership with Indian Graphic Novel and animation producer Graphic India for Striker Force 7 – an entertainment property that covers gaming, comics, publishing, animation and digital content.
While form is temporary, class is permanent. Ronaldo’s class and digital presence with Striker Force 7 seeks to inspire people and fans from around the world that superheroes like him are real and don’t just live in comic books and games. This animated series has a heavy football influence and was created by Sharad Devarajan – co-creator, producer of the new series and CEO of Graphic India and Ronaldo himself. Cristiano Ronaldo has even teamed up with VMS Communications a digital marketing company that will help launch the series with Graphic India.
